Well I did! I've always used notepad for things like this in the past so it was easiest to just jump right back in to using it, saying that.. have I missed out on something special by not checking out other possibilities? Hopefully somebody will inform me of my awful mistake!
My Open Badges Journey
Tuesday 5 February 2013
Ta-Dah... Indentation was a tricky mistress without the ability to remember how many times to press the TAB button, and after a small amount of confusion with the <p></p>, I got there! Looking like a lot of badges will involve some form of HTML coding, luckily I've done a small amount of Computer Science. That said, why wouldn't I just write it on my computer and phone as a text file for later?

Webmaking 101

I will be adding more links as I find badges I am interested in achieving.
Today I earned my first badge! Well.. I actually earned it last wednesday by getting involved with the Bett Show 2013, but I recieved the badge today. See it here:

My name is Luke, I am a massive keener for retro gaming emulation, tabletop role-play and techno-gadgetry (I'm coining that phrase). I am a coffee/tea snob with a love for reading fantasy and graphic novels. Currently I am a second year BA(Hons) Primary Education student at the University of Winchester, specializing in ICT (and a part-time trolley boy). We have recently been introduced to 'Open Badges' which could potentially be important to future children when proving their skills for further work and education means. I am in the process of designing a (set of) badge(s) which I will use to inform a written assignment on the process of attaining such a badge. Since I jumped in at the deep end there, I decided to wind it back and find my own badge to earn whilst learning about open badges in greater detail, I settled on the '101 What are Open Badges' on P2PU. Well that's it... I will update my learning as I progress.
